The founders of the company are primarily into garments export since 1983 and catered to some of the biggest brands around the world. This retail venture is a branch especially created to cater to the densely growing domestic retail market.

Despite foreign luxury brands bombarding its way in the Indian market, the retailers are pushing ethnic ‘Desi’ wear as there is a serious increase in demand in this segment. Endless scope in the traditional craft sector and the companies exposure in understanding fashion and the nuances of Indian fabric is what steered the formation of Paislei.
